Week in Pictures: Saturday Night Lights

Seeing as how I do these blog reviews just as much for my customers as I do for myself, I went a little trigger happy for my good pal and riding partner Cort this evening. Cort is a regional cyclocross stalwarth and also a member of Team Pedros-Svelte Cycles (hence the neon green tape). Enjoy these photos and check back tomorrow for another complete bike post!

PSS: note the little brake stradle cable barrel adjustors.... sweet.
PSSS: cort specifically requested the SLR saddle... typically i like Fiziks. can't blame him though as a 135g saddle that won't break is hard to beat.

Friday: Edge 2.68 Wheelset

Much like the Edge wheel build (scroll down) I performed earlier in the week, these Edge 2.68s feature Sapim CX-Ray spokes, Pillar Hidden Nipples, White Industries H2 hubs and Tufo Extreme Tape. The major differences here are that these employ a Shimano cassette body (titanium body is standard on the H2s by the way) and the highly resiliant yet surprisingly supple Continental Competition 22s which are handmade in Germany.

Due to incliment weather here in the 603 I was not able to foray outside into a more creative environment but I can assure you this weekends posts will not dissapoint should the weather break. To be continued...

VXR Thursday.

This VXR features Campagnolo Chorus 11, DT Swiss handbuilt wheels and a signature Svelte Cycles finishing kit. Wednesday: Spooky Skeletor for Alina Milano

This bike features a nice silver Campagnolo Centaur gruppo, 3T bar and stem, Fizik Vitesse saddle, Fizik Microtex tape, Arundel Dave-O cages and FSA post.

The wheels consist of White Industries H2 hubs, Wheelsmith DB spokes, Wheelsmith alloy nipples, Kinlin XR270 rims, Rithchey rims strips, Michelin laytex tubes, Vittoria EVO CX Open tires.
